Summary
ETIC provides an SMTP server (outgoing mail server) for its products.
Mail can thus be sent without any configuration.
The connection to the M2Me service if it is available is used to reach the mail server.
If it is not, the Internet access is used. In this case, please make sure the
outgoing TCP port 465 is open on your corporate firewall for the product.
If the product has a cellular interface and if a SIM card is inserted,
SMS can sent through that interface.
If not, ETIC provides an outgoing SMS server for its products.
The connection to the M2Me service if it is available is used to reach the mail server.
If it is not, the Internet access is used. In this case, please make sure the
outgoing TCP port 443 is open on your corporate firewall for the product.
To use this service, you need to buy some SMS pack.
Warning: this SMS sending system doesn't manage answers. It is not possible
to remote control the product with that mean.
